Student Info - ArtWorks

ArtWorks Invites Students to Get Involved!

The guidelines for the students are the same as for the exhibiting professional artists. Students will be actively doing their artwork or have displays set up so they can explain what their goals are.

The High School art tent is located on St. Claire Street. Another tent is provided at a different location for the Brevard Community College art students and the Brevard Art Educators Association. Tables and chairs are provided in each area.

The students may work individually or in groups. Teachers usually set up schedules as some students work for a few hours and others may stay for the entire day or both days. There is no entry fee and their work may be priced and sold.

While there are no prizes for this division, ArtWorks has been able to make a contribution to the art fund of each participating schools. These school awards are based on the number of hours of the students' participation in the ArtWorks Festival.
