Bonnie Bernau - ArtWorks Judge

Jennifer Coolidge


Jennifer Coolidge is the former Executive Director for the Museum of Florida Art in DeLand (2001-2011). Currently she is an arts consultant working on a series of arts related projects.

During her 23 years of experience as an arts administrator Ms. Coolidge has served as the Executive Director for Florida Alliance for Art Education, FAAE (1995-2001); Education Coordinator for the Atlantic Center for the Arts in New Smyrna Beach, FL, and the Southeastern Center for Contemporary Art in Winston Salem, NC, and several other arts organizations in North Carolina.

Since then Ms. Coolidge has received numerous awards for her leadership in the arts, and completed a fellowship with the Denali Initiative on Social Enterprise in 2000 through The Kauffman Center on Entrepreneurial Leadership. In 2005, Florida First Lady, Columba Bush, gave her an Ambassador of the Arts Award.

Dan Gunderson

Ceramics Professor, Stetson University

Professor of Art at Stetson for 35 years, teaches ceramics, drawing, and sculpture. He has also been Director of Stetson’s Duncan Gallery of Art for 20 years. He’s shown nationally in every major city and been published widely. During his tenure at Stetson, he amassed for the university one of the finest contemporary ceramics collections in the state. He curated and installed the Barbara Sorensen exhibition at the Museum of Florida Art in early 2011 and it will tour and be shown at the Orlando Museum of Art in the spring of 2012. Having spent thirty years almost exclusively in ceramics, his most recent works entail large installations using mixed media.
